Age Specific
These recording experiences are for Adults and teens age 12+. The recording process is at an adult pace.
Families: Children must be over the age of 7 to enter the studio and be supervised by a parent at all times.

Sign-up
Sign up with the concierge at the studio. First come-first served. The studio is on the second floor near the Les Paul exhibit.
Length
The videorecording process takes about 10-12 minutes. The DVD is 2-3 minutes depending on the experience.
What is it?
Using our scripts and technicians, you´ll participate in a DVD with a virtual Les Paul. As you sit on the green screen set of our studio, pre-recorded video clips are triggered at specific times, simulating that you and Les are together.

Les Paul’s House of Sound features one-of-a-kind experiences in the Discovery World Video Studio. Inspired by Les Paul’s invention of sound on sound, we combine green screen technology and pre-recorded video to create video on video experiences that will feel real and exciting as you sit along side the master.
Adults or teens may choose from three different Les Paul video experience.
- Take your very first guitar lesson from a pre-recorded Les Paul
(1-2 guests) - Narrate the Les Paul story. You and Les tell the story of how he became the Wizard of Waukesha.
(1-2 guests) - Jam with a virtual Les Paul (for amateur guitarists)
(1 or 2 guests)
All experiences include your own DVD recording.
